Product Specialist
(NSW)

This role, based in Northmead, will be servicing our Freedom Wheels team and will work with staff and volunteers located in both NSW and VIC to deliver Freedom Wheels trials.

Skills & Expericences:

  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
  • Relevant industry experience working with people with a wide range of disability
  • Display appropriate clinical skills with clients
  • A sound theoretical knowledge base in Allied Health
  • Sound planning and organisational skills, to ensure primary objectives of position are met
  • Ability to relate to clients with a wide range of disabilities from a variety of social and CALD backgrounds
  • Well developed verbal communication skills to enable effective liaison within team and with clients and volunteers
  • Sound research skills, able to use initiative and existing knowledge to investigate equipment solutions

    Desirable:

  • Experience working in a health and/or Not for Profit environment

Engagement Officer (NSW)

We have a part- time (3 days) to join are engagement team and play an essential in the smooth running of our programs involving staff, volunteers and other stakeholders including donors. This contract role will be until the end of April/early May. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the first point of contact for the organisation, provide a highly responsive, professional, friendly and welcoming experience for customers and volunteers contacting the organisation by telephone or in person.
  • Register service requests on the Freedom Solutions database and follow up with client and/or their support team to ensure relevant information is captured on the database.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls and respond to electronic mail enquiries. 
  • Greet and direct all visitors and communicate arrivals to staff as required.
  • Process incoming donations from donors and update all information on Salesforce.
  • Support Freedom Solutions by liaising with volunteers to organise courier runs of products where needed.
  • Build rapport with volunteers and assist with their enquiries. 
  • Build rapport with donors through calls, emails and letters.
  • Organise events for volunteers and donors from time to time including both physical and online.
  • Assist with ensuring volunteer have their WWCC and NDIS screening check up to date.

Warehouse and Bike Build Assistant (VIC)

We have a part time opportunity for an energetic person to play a critical part in the service delivery to our clients. The role is to assist with the production of our Freedom Wheel bikes, including assisting with quality assurance and with the safe and efficient running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the customising of individual bikes
  • Provide support to the work of Freedom Wheels volunteers when required.
  • Assist the Production Coordinator to train to new Freedom Wheels volunteers.
  • Assist with quality control and troubleshooting to ensure bikes are built to a high standard. 
  • Maintain accurate records on our CRM, Salesforce.
  • Pack, stock, organise and rearrange products in warehouse.
  • Keep neat and clean warehouse premises.
  • Monitor and assist in the management of inventory control.
  • Manage and handle loading and unloading of products.
  • Operate electric pallet jack- forklift license not required.
  • Drive vans handling warehouse materials.
  • Pick up and delivery of Bikes and other products.
  • Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing the workshop and warehouse.
