Product Specialist in VIC

Are you passionate about making a meaningful contribution to the lives of individuals living with disability?

As a Product Specialist, you will be a crucial part of our dedicated team, working in Abbotsford to serve our Freedom Wheels program. You will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and treating therapists across Melbourne and regional Victoria to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality care and outcomes. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing clients’ needs, planning and conducting bike trials, and providing support for inclusive sports activities.

You will not be required to act as the treating clinician in this role, however having a background in allied health or health and leisure will assist greatly in ensuring our clients and treating therapists are appropriately informed and supported during our Freedom Wheels bike trials.

We are looking for someone who has a passion for recreation and enabling others to live active and full lives. We are looking for someone who has a bachelor’s in health science, Diploma or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualifications. We are willing to look at candidates who have qualification outside of the ones mentioned if they have relevant experience. 

You will have excellent planning and organisational skills as well as the ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds. You will have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of allied health practices.  

The successful candidate will be required to undertake a Working with Children Check as well as an NDIS screening Check.
